British Show Jumping Championships

The Saffron Walden Quadrille Display was born out of the British Riding Clubs’ Quadrille competition in which Saffron Walden have a formidable record of five wins and eleven appearances in the finals at Olympia. The principle team members decided that their Quadrilles had scope to increase the number of team members, creating a more ambitious routine and the current Display team was formed.
All of our riders are riding club members and our horses are our hobbies and our best friends. Our team members compete in a wide range of riding disciplines from Mounted Games to British Eventing and none of our horses are ‘dressage’ specialists. We have nine geldings, two stallions and three mares that are all well practiced together and usually well behaved (however horses will be horses!).
Two mothers and their teenage daughters and two sisters make up almost half the all girl team. The squad rehearses once a week come rain or shine and our fourteen riders try to master avoiding each other and squeezing round each other, to create engaging routines that are interesting to watch. Our team started out as fourteen friends just dabbling with ideas and turned into a display that everyone involved is very proud to be a part of.

The H Factor Final
No need for Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole for the inaugural H Factor competition as these amazing equestrian talents won’t be singing, but they will be entertaining! A judging panel of performing experts and the audience, will have the tough decision on who to crown the H Factor winner from the four outstanding finalists:
Here come the girls! - An all action stunt show featuring solely female Gladiators, Equestrienne.
Strictly come Dressage! - The Saffron Walden Quadrille Team presented by Allinson Bread performing dressage to music.
Knights in shining armour! - Medieval jousting and stunt riding with a twist from the Knights of Middle England.
Rock n' Roll with Rockin’ Horse! - The eccentric, fast paced stunt show that will keep you rockin’.
